CFAB

The Canadian Forestry Accreditation Board (CFAB) is a committee of the Forest Professional Regulators of Canada and accredits forestry programs as a service to FPRC's member agencies. This process ensures that accredited programs meet or exceed FPRC's professional standards required for registration as a professional forestry practitioner in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland and Labrador.

The Board applies the terms, conditions and requirements of its Policy and the Academic Standards set by FPRC in the undertaking of its responsibility.

The Board publishes an annual report and a listing of the accredited forestry programs is posted on the FPRC website.

CFAB is a member of the Association of Accrediting Agencies of Canada.
