Currently each province that regulates forest technologists accredits programs that are recognized in that jurisdiction. In 2026 accreditation of the post-secondary institutions will move to the CFAB national program in alignment with the forester programs. If an institution is not in this list, regulators in BC, AB, and SK will be addressing applications for registration in alignment with provincial frameworks until the institutions have completed the accreditation.
